ImmunoIVD’ SPOT-it™ kit elutes DNA from dried blood spot samples (Guthrie cards) and uses quantitative multiplex real-time PCR for TREC and beta-actin to detect severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID). With a workflow of two hours, which requires minimal pipetting, it is ideal for population-scale screening.
The one-day training course is aimed for paediatric immunologists and laboratory technicians working with newborn screening. It will take place at our facilities and includes hands-on laboratory work as well as more general information on primary immunodeficiency diseases and the need to start newborn screening in order to save lives.
